Social commitment

For a sustainable future

Freedom Through Education

As part of the "Freedom Through Education" project, the Jansen Fashion Group and the ROADSIGN® australia brand, along with the Rotary Club of Bangalore, now runs nine schools.

The schools were built through a lot of personal involvement from the management team, Jansen Fashion Group employees and the ROADSIGN® australia brand. For 1st to 4th year pupils, the schools provide children of India's disadvantaged castes with the opportunity to receive a basic education that is by no means guaranteed elsewhere.

Regional partners on the ground ensure that every Euro invested and spent flows into the project.

Given the fact that the Jansen Fashion Group has now been having textiles produced in India for more than 15 years, we have a direct relationship with the country. We have always been committed to ensuring that our textiles are produced in accordance with social conditions for employees. For this reason, our support for the "Freedom Through Education" project set up by the Rotary Club of Bangalore was also a natural continuation of our corporate philosophy in production.

Help for self-help - this is the motto behind the "Freedom Through Education" project, and it is a project that still needs many more supporters.
